Lucknow: CSIR–Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP) is proud to announce that Dr. Akanksha Singh, Scientist-D in the Division of Crop Protection and Production, has been selected for the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) Young Scientist Award 2026. Dr. Singh is also an Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Young Scientist, an INSA Young Associate, and an active member of the Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS).
The NASI Young Scientist Award will be formally conferred during the Felicitation Ceremony at the 96th Annual Session and Symposium of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), scheduled to be held on 4–5 December 2026 at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi.
Congratulating Dr. Akanksha Singh on this remarkable achievement, Dr. Prabodh Kumar Trivedi, Director, CSIR-CIMAP , expressed immense pride on behalf of the institute and the scientific community. He remarked:
